I couldn't decide between these two, so here they both are. If you look closely at the centre of the above photo (where the line of trees meets the water), you will see the 5:30 sailing of the Queen of Capilano heading out of Horseshoe Bay and on to Sung Cove. We were the FIRST car held back due to overloading. It's always so sad to be the first car to be told "Full boat. No more will fit." You are filled with such hope and optimism as you watch them wave the car in front of you forward. You hold your breath and pray for the hand currently being held in STOP position to flex and wave you forward. If you are 5 or 6 cars back when they begin the STOP hand signals, you know you aren't getting on, but being the very next one...it's just so disappointing. We went and drank beer while we waited for the 6:30 boat.
This is Nora. She is hugging the "Donate to Seeing Eye Dogs" dog at Lynne Valley Centre. We stop to give this puppy a hug EVERY time we are in the mall.

Interesting how empty those docks are... I'm sure berths there are pretty cheap now!
Great story to go with the picture. And Nora is such a cutie; too bad we can't get the girls together and sit and visit while they play. :( Maybe we should get webcams.
